Goa’s main draw is sooooo worth the trip! Whatever your beach taste runs, you’ll find it here in this small area.
We sampled the North Goa beaches, which ranged from rocky
to miles of smooth sand.
Some were near-deserted.
The Arabian Sea is famous for its deadly tides, so lifeguards are helpful. Some are better equipped than others.
I couldn’t figure out why locals stand fully clothed near the water
and only tourists sunbathe on lounge chairs.
I wouldn’t call the beaches relaxing since none of them were without pesky peddlers swarming non-natives, trying to get them to part with their rupees.
The tiny towns were filled with shops selling jewelry, beachwear and food. What else could you possibly need?
