High Line Park, Section Two

High Line Section 2

Section Two of the High Line Park opened this summer, bringing joy to New Yorkers and tourists alike (has this statement ever been uttered before?). The new addition stretches from West 20^th Street to West 30^th Street. It is narrower than the Gansevoort to 20^th Street stretch and more closed in, so there’s a feeling of winding through a forest of decrepit, old industrial buildings and sleek, new high rises.  The views and the elevated-nature experience are just as stunning as on the first section.
