The Mascot

Everything from tomatoes to fava beans to potatoes flourished.

Mm, Potatoes!

We tentatively walked around shooting the luscious greens and what will surely be plump tomatoes.

Tons of Tomatoes

Each row held a new delight. Before we knew it, our attempt to not trespass too flagrantly disappeared and we found ourselves deep in peas and cabbage.

Another Ideal Veg!

Luckily, the French farmer was very kind. He waved us in and invited us to look around. It turns out the garden belongs to his family. This was a nice surprise since, well, who owns a big plot like this in the middle of town anymore?

The Proud Owners

The farmer was very proud of his plot and showed off his baby chicks.
