Petit Palais Courtyard
This palatial palace, across from the Grand Palace, houses the Musée des Beaux Arts de la Ville de Paris. The collection is a bit of a hodgepodge and includes decorative arts, paintings and sculptures spanning ancient Greek and Roman times to the twentieth century. Pieces by Monet, Courbet, Delacroix, Rodin, Pisssarro and other greats are on view. Admission is free, so there’s no excuse not to pop in for a quick look.
