I was thrilled to encounter this oasis in the middle of Union Square, where the morning temps had already hit 90!
NYC’s Department of Environmental Protection takes New York City’s famously high-quality, tasty tap water to the streets this summer. These portable fountains are set up in the city’s busiest areas to keep everyone hydrated.
Of course, “no bathing” signs were posted. This being New York, you can never be too careful.
